Yes. Dump-N-Roll is fully licensed, insured, and equipped to handle events at any venue. We also provide service to private residences, outdoor events, and places of business. Additional charges may apply. Please contact us today with your event details, for more specific information.
Catered events are booked on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to place a temporary hold on any dates. To firmly secure your event date with us, and ensure our availability, a non-refundable date deposit and signed catering agreement may be required. Weekend event dates are in high demand and book extremely quickly — up to one year in advance. We suggest securing your date with as early on in your planning process as possible, to guarantee our availability.
We are always willing to work with other non-profit organizations to meet event needs on an individual basis.

Our coordinator will work with you to find the right level of service for you, and make informed recommendations that will help keep your costs down. We are much more interested in developing an ongoing relationship with you and earning your trust than taking your last dime! Dump-N-Roll has built its reputation on offering an uncompromising level of quality cuisine and service to each of our clients, with each event that we serve. In order provide our clients and their guests with the most satisfying experience, there are certain shortcuts in quality and service you may find elsewhere, that we are simply unwilling to take. When comparing caterers, it is important to be sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Our high value catering packages will already include everything your event requires, without the need for unnecessary and costly add-ons. Our goal is to ease your planning process — not complicate it.
While Dump-N-Roll does not generally offer private tastings, we are happy to answer any menu questions you may have on our award-winning cuisine or provide you with references to any number of our highly satisfied past clients. All catering situations are unique. We are happy to provide a formal written price quote, after learning of the details of your planned event. Please allow up to two (2) business days for all price quotes. Contact us today to initiate the planning process for your next catered event.
Our pricing is simple and straight forward. Gratuity will not be automatically added to your final bill. Pennsylvania state sales tax of 8% may apply. Proper documentation will be required for all entities claiming tax exempt status. Additional charges may apply for rush orders, custom orders, client requested rental items, upgrades, premium menu selections, enhanced services, delivery, mileage, or offsite catering related charges. A 20% Truck Fee will be assessed (providing up to 3 hrs. of service time, logistics, gas and propane) No additional fees or charges will appear on your final invoice, unless previously discussed and fully disclosed to you, as our valued client.
All venue fees, including but not limited to catering fees, room rental, equipment rental, etc. are the full responsibility of the client hosting the event, and not the caterer. Required fees will either be billed directly to the client by the venue, or by Dump-N-Roll as your caterer, or then paid to the venue.
Delivery is $50 for all catering orders within Philadelphia city limits, unless otherwise specified. Deliveries outside of Philadelphia are subject to a round trip mileage charge of $0.89 per mile. If your group size is less than the stated minimum, the per guest investment will be increased by the difference, in order to reach the minimum charge for that specific menu. For example, you may order 10 box lunches, but the investment will be equivalent to the minimum order size of 12 box lunches.
The need for a catering contract will depend on the nature of your event, as well as other factors. A non-refundable deposit may also be required to reserve your date. This goes towards procuring ingredients, consultations, staffing, and other costs incurred by Dump-N-Roll, leading up to your event. Catering orders placed with less than four (4) full business days advance notice are subject to availability, and a 10% rush order fee. This includes any changes or modifications to existing orders. The further in advance Dump-N-Roll is contacted about catering your special event, the better we are able to fully accommodate your needs.
Yes. We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and an additional 3.5% fee for payments made by credit card. Personal checks are also accepted. Payment must be made in advance for either method.
Yes. Some groups require the use of a purchase order system to pay vendors. Dump-N-Roll will provide you with an invoice as soon as your order is finalized. Dump-N-Roll must receive a purchase order number prior to your order delivery or catered event, to ensure timely processing and prompt payment.
To provide the most superior service possible, requested changes made with less than two (2) full business days notice cannot be guaranteed and may subject to a 10% fee . While we make every effort to accommodate the needs of our clients, we have certain constraints with deadlines and lead times from suppliers to order fresh ingredients, staff scheduling, delivery scheduling, and prep & production timelines.
Cancellation of a order with less than two (2) full business days advance notice will remain the responsibility of the client, for the full invoiced investment. Cancellation with more than 2 days advance notice, 50% of charges imply.
No. Buffet style service and an all you can eat buffet are very different. Although your meal is served buffet style, there is still a fixed quantity of food prepared, based on the number of guests communicated in your final guest count and indicated on your order invoice. After all guests have been initially served once, we do not guarantee that guests will be able to enjoy a second serving from the buffet, unless an additional quantity of food has been requested and purchased by the client in advance.
No. Unlike a restaurant, catered food is often prepared well in advance of being served to guests, while still maintaining the quality and integrity of the food. Due to Health Department codes and insurance regulations, whenever service staff is provided, any and all leftover food items shall remain the property of Dump-N-Roll.
With limited exceptions, the minimum price for a catered event in Philadelphia is $750. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the minimum is $1500.
For drop-off orders, the minimum is $300 in Philadelphia.
We require that our customers guarantee parking for the date of the event. The truck cannot be parked within 15 feet of a fire hydrant or in any illegal parking spot.
Our truck dimensions are: Height: 14′, Length: 22′, Width: 8′
if we are unable to park on-location the day of the event, the catering service will be canceled, and Dump-N-Roll will keep the payment in full.
There is travel fee which is included into the truck rental fee. There is a small fee per mile to help cover gas and other transportation costs.
When serving from the truck (whether a la carte or unlimited), we provide disposable serving dishes, utensils, and napkins. When serving hors d’hoeuvres, we use disposable serving trays, which some clients choose to replace with their own serving platters.
Yes, the customer must provide garbage cans and remove the trash for disposal at the end of the event. The truck is responsible for trash disposal within the truck only.
We require a 50% deposit to secure any event. Payment in full is required 2 week prior to the event.
If the event is canceled:
-30 days or more prior to the event date: the full deposit will be refunded
-2-29 days prior to the event date: 50% of the deposit will be refunded
-Less than 2 days prior to the event: the full amount of the event will be retained/owed to us
